Mountaineer Audubon Spring Bird Walks

birders photoCome welcome back the migrant songbirds as they return from their winter ranges! An anticipated annual event, the Mountaineer Audubon spring bird walks happen every year at the end of April and beginning of May. Last year, in the course of four bird walks, over 70 species of birds were seen and/or heard. These guided tours are free, and will meet in the Arboretum parking lot. Additional parking is available at the nearby WVU Coliseum. First time birders are welcome, and, thanks to a generous donation, we have binoculars to share with those who may not have them! No reservations are needed. Dress appropriately for the weather and for hiking.
